About
Rachel jannazzo
For the last 10 years, I have been working with people like you. People who want to feel happy, calm and balanced; People seeking clarity.
Transitions, life and general stress can make living the life we want difficult. Therapy can help. Therapy is not a simple process nor is it the same for everybody. Therapy is a journey. In my practice, I use a variety of therapies to best fit your needs.
Feel free to ask me about what kind of therapy might be a good fit for you. My intention is to be attuned to your needs and provide evidenced based and supportive care.
Therapies Offered
Cognitive behavioral therapy
This therapy focuses on learning about where your feelings come from, why you feel the feelings you do and what you can do about them. This kind of therapy has been proven effective in the treatment of depression and anxiety.
dialectical Behavioral therapy
This therapy focuses on helping manage emotional highs and lows. Individuals who want to be more assertive, decisive, reduce unhealthy behaviors and build self esteem find this therapy most helpful.
Motivational interviewing
This therapy focuses on helping you identify your goals and the motivation you have to achieve your goals. By breaking down how change happens step by step, you know where you are in your progress and where you are going. This kind of therapy is helpful for people with health goals and others who want to change unhealthy behaviors.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy "ART"
This evidenced based practice is revolutionary in the world of therapy. Feeling better faster and gaining resolution to life long difficulties and even healing traumas is possible with ART. ART is different from traditional “talk” therapy and often only requires 3-5 sessions. Please ask me more about ART if you are interested!
